Refreshments Purpose to schedule time to meet, talk and make friends at church, just let us know that you would like to go into the kitchen and boil some water. There is tea, hot chocolate, instant coffee, sugar in the cupboard. Just send Susan a message if you would like to have something else in the cupboard to share. Signing up for a week or two is a great way to make this a rewarding experience. Susan is very happy to help anyone with this important time of fellowship and caring to build the church family. Consider using this time to fulfill our Mission and Vision.

Welcome back to: Cheryl Stenson, LLWL
Over the years, Cheryl stepped into the pulpit when Glebe Road United Church’s minister was away and found a passion in creating services and sermons. Eventually, she decided to take the Licensed Lay Worship Leader (LLWL) course with the United Church of Canada, receiving her license in November 2021. Since then, most of her Sundays have been filled serving in many and varied church communities, east end to west, north end to south.
Cheryl firmly believes that God led her to Glebe for many and varied reasons which have revealed themselves over time. She aspires to reflect those same qualities “Inclusive. Inventive. In Faith.” in her work as an LLWL.
Thank you to Cheryl, Margaret, Belly, JP and choir for preparing the service and music this week at Ebenezer United Church. Thanks to Diane for preparing Sunday School lessons. Jamie, Doug thank you for all the audio &
visual work, recording, replay and posting on YOUTUBE.
“Boost the Bag” Thanks everyone who has supported the “Boost the Bag” program. Please note that this program is taking a break during the winter months. To be continued… Jane will keep us posted.
Christmas Eve Wednesday, December 24 with Margaret, Ian, Shawn at 7 p.m. Please remember that the “Out of the Cold” program, run by BlueDoor, is here on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. We would like to respect their time of rest in the warmth and safety of Ebenezer United Church by using the side entrance to the sanctuary for this evenings’ service.
*Office Hours for Susan will be slightly different during the holidays. Email: ebenezer5000@gmail.com if you have any questions.

The United Church of Canada Foundation was established in 2002 to manage trusts and endowments to support the work of the church. A number of funds have been created. Congregations benefit from the Foundation in many ways including grants to support congregations for the service provided to their communities. Ebenezer acknowledges being awarded one such grant and truly appreciates the generosity of the Foundation. Click here to download a brochure about the Foundation.

Ebenezer United Church has been the rock of the community at Steeles Ave. E and Brimley Rd for over 168 years.

Not only do we celebrate God's presence, but also we offer a number of interesting community programs.

We are a friendly, family oriented, and music-loving congregation that reaches to people in our neighbourhood and beyond.
